Hi! My name is Sally. I came to BBR because my family could not afford my medical care. I have a disease call Addison’s which requires a monthly shot, daily medication and some extra monitoring of my health. I am a very sweet and beautiful basset girl and I get along with everyone, children, other dogs and even cats! I love to go for walks and on car rides. I am an expert snuggler and am very fond of soft places to take a nap. Including laps!

Hi I’m Daisey May! I am an active, affectionate basset lady. In my humble opinion I am a classic basset beauty. When one of my special human family members passed away I became very sad and the family was no longer able to care for me. I came to BBR and I am doing much better now. I love kids and get along with other dogs too. I even like cats! Most people guess my age at about 4 or 5 years old. Sshhh don’t let my secret out!

Hi I’m Amelia. I am just a baby but I found myself without a home. Fortunately a lady from BBR rescued me and now I have a great foster home. I am a friendly, cuddy little girl and I like to play with other dogs. I do have those super sharp puppy teeth so I might be a little too much for young children. Foster mom says I am doing great with my housetraining! One of my parents was a basset and one of my parents was another kind of dog. Maybe a blue heeler? All I know is that I am as cute as can be, if I do say so myself.
