Hi, I’m Betty.  I recently came to BBR from a southern puppy mill along with Kelsie (pictured behind me).  I am not as brave as Kelsie but like her I am learning about living in a house and learning to trust people.  I have been doing well with other dogs and feel more comfortable with them than people.  However, I have been pretty clingy to my new humans as well.  I need to learn to potty outside, and I am taking tiny walks to the neighbor’s house and back to build up the strength in my back legs.  They seem to be weak due to being kenneled throughout my life.  At this time a fence is a must for me.  I have gotten scared and tried to run, so safety first.  I also currently need my kennel for security, and potty training.  I may not need it over time.  I am looking for a home with other dogs and/or people who are home a lot, plus a fenced yard.
