Mandy’s family could no longer keep her in the house due to difficult circumstances. Mandy was not happy about the new arrangements and her family knew she deserved better so they contacted rescue for help. As you can see, Mandy is very happy about being back in the house. She’s very sweet and housetrained. We are still getting to know her and will post more info soon.
Update from Mandy’s foster mom 1/30/17:
My name is Mandy, but my foster mom calls me Manders when I try to stop her from going anywhere with out me. I am trying to learn that free feeding me is not good for me and my foster mom is trying to show me that I should eat twice a day. I am not a fan of the kibble they have me eating but I get it softened with beef broth. I don’t like carrots or any vegetables. Arhoooo…. Do I look like a rabbit? I love to play with all the stuffed toys that are here in my foster home and will bring one to you and ask you to throw it, and I might bring it back. I don’t like anything that is made out of rubber or plastic. I love to go for walks and stop and smell everything. I am not a puller. I also enjoy going to the dog park as long as dogs don’t come rushing at me.
I am housetrained and will tell you when I need to go out. Sometimes I will go to the door and bark, but if you are doing something than I will come over and gently grab your arm. (foster mom…We are working on breaking this habit.)
o you have a cat? I don’t mind them and I am hoping that in my forever home I have a kitty that likes me. If you love to snuggle than I am your girl. I can’t wait to meet you.
