| Describe the dog’s reaction to children: likes them, nervous around them, etc Tim has attended Petco Meet & Greet events and has been very good with the children he has come in contact with there. However, as he has a very strong prey instinct I feel he would be better placed with older, less active children . |

| Comments about behavior with other dogs: Tim is being fostered with other Basset/Basset mixes and does very well. He is not one to “mix in” and play with the others but does enjoy running around the yard with them. When he first came here he had to learn that the others were not going to harm him so I believe that at some point in his life he did not have a good experience with other dogs. |

| Comments about stairs: Tim is extremely agile….he can get over just about any obstacle and through the slats of the deck rail. |

| Comments about pulling on a leash: Tim is very excited about walking outside the fenced yard. He will need some basic leash training/reinforcement. |

| Comments about food aggressiveness: We feed in crates here so I’m not sure. Most often he is very good about waiting his turn for treats to be handed out (and takes them very gently). He is very driven to be in the kitchen area and has had a scrap with others when he is too focused in that room. |

| List allergies and any related comments: Tim came into rescue with a lot of hair loss. It has improved tremendously with good nutrition (he is on special Duck & Potato food) and regular medicated baths/grooming. |
| Type of family life? Doesn’t care. |
| Comments about family life: Tim is VERY active in the yard “hunting” (this may include some digging) but inside just likes to curl up in a dog bed (he would prefer a chair or couch if allowed). |
| List anything the dog is afraid of (please complete, in full): Tim appears to have been mishandled in his past life so is hand & foot shy. |
| Tell us about your foster basset: Tim is a very sweet little guy. He would just love to curl up and cuddle for attention and he tries very hard to always please. |
