Exposure to children? No
Describe the dog’s reaction to children: likes them, nervous around them, etc In his prior home he lived with a 12 year old. He gets excited when he sees kids.
Good with other dogs? Yes
Comments about behavior with other dogs: He wants to meet every dog he sees. He is mostly really excited.
Good with cats? Yes
Comments about behavior with cats: For the most part he does well. If he is sleeping on the couch and the cat jumps up he will snap at the cat.

Can climb stairs? Yes
Pulls on a leash? Yes
Comments about pulling on a leash: Snoopy didn’t get many walks in his prior home. He LOVES his walks and we have been working with him on proper walking etiquette.
Food aggressive? Yes
Comments about food aggressiveness: He will snap at the cat if it gets too close to his food bowl. We generally do not bother him otherwise while he is eating. On a side note, he is a very messy eater.
Has allergies? No
Type of family life? Active
Comments about family life: Snoopy goes for 2-3 walks a day and looks forward to them. He is crated when left alone as he can be somewhat destructive if not, i.e. digging in plants, knocking down the garbage, etc.
List anything the dog is afraid of : He sometimes shudders when you put your hand over his head.
Tell us about your foster basset: Snoopy is a lover. He would do best with a family that can give him lots of attention and walks.
