Describe the dog’s reaction to children: Wants to be petted and played with.

Comments about behavior with other dogs: Just took her to a basset get together with many other dogs and she got on great, plus she lives here with 5 other dogs.
Good with cats? Yes
Comments about behavior with cats: We have 5 cats and she doesn’t even bother with them.

Comments about pulling on a leash: When you start out on a walk she pulls then as you go on she settles into a nice paced walk.

Comments about family life: We have a quiet life here but I believe she would do well in a more active household.

Tell us about your foster basset: Lily is a sweetheart of a girl. Likes to play and snuggle too. She will tell you if she wants something and will sit up on her rear for a treat. She loves to walk and most of the time likes her crate. She knows how to use the doggy door and after a few minutes rides well in the car. She has very beautiful markings with merle swirling through her. She sure would complete the right family’s home
