Tell us about your foster basset

Alex is a quick learner and is doing great on his house training; he has no problems at all with using the doggy door. He will need to continue working on this, and if no doggy door will need to learn to “alert” owners of a need to go out. He is a bit of a restless sleeper at night, though we are working on this and he is getting better. He does great on walks and is learning to use the leash with no problems. He also is very respectful of his elder 4 legged housemates and gets along well with the other foster dogs. Basically he’s a happy go lucky little dog who is loved by everyone he comes across.
